Our commitment to prevention and early intervention is also evident in our approach to biological monitoring and health surveillance for NHS clients.  We work closely with the Health, Safety and Risk Teams to ensure that health surveillance is undertaken where the risk assessment indicates that it is required.  We advise on the frequency of health surveillance and monitor the employee’s health against the initial assessment (baseline); we manage the recall programme and help to identify adverse trends so that they can be investigated and acted on.
