Ensuring that employees are mentally and physically fit for their roles before they join the organisation is one of our primary functions.   We achieve this through rigorous processes for pre employment health assessment, which include checking each potential employee’s immunisation status and where necessary providing vaccination against infectious diseases in line with the Health Clearance Guidance, prior to employment in the NHS.  We have also streamlined processes  to ensure that peaks in activity for pre employment clearances are effectively managed so that doctors can be cleared as quickly as possible.
