We work closely with clients in the Food Industry to ensure compliance with the Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006.  This includes assessing Fitness for Work by health screening to ensure that food handlers are fit to carry out their role and that conditions are identified that may be caused or exacerbated by work, or jeopardise Employee Safety e.g. Respiratory and Skin conditions, or Infectious Diseases.

Fitness for Work Assessments are carried out at recruitment and following illness and/or injury and Health Surveillance may also be required depending on the specific hazards of the working environment e.g. Respiratory Surveillance for Sensitisers and Hearing Surveillance if working in a noisy area.
